FAQs

What does Phi Sigma Phi stand for?

1

Phi Sigma Phi is built on the principles of Honor, Justice, and Wisdom and guided by the Golden Rule. We believe fraternity should be more than a social experience. It should challenge men to lead with character, serve others, pursue academic success, and build a brotherhood that lasts long after graduation.

Do you guys haze?

2

No. Brotherhood should never be about tearing someone down. At Phi Sigma Phi, we build each other up. New members should feel welcomed, respected, and part of the brotherhood from the start.

What does membership offer?

3

Membership in Phi Sigma Phi offers leadership opportunities, academic support, service experiences, scholarships, alumni connections, and lifelong friendships. From chapter involvement to national programs, members gain the chance to grow as students, leaders, and brothers.

How do I get started? Do I need to know someone to join?

4

You do not need to know anyone to get started. A lot of brothers join after simply showing up, asking questions, and getting to know the chapter. Fill out the interest form or reach out to a local Phi Sigma Phi chapter, and a brother will connect with you about rush events, chapter activities, and next steps. Rush is your chance to meet the brotherhood and see if Phi Sigma Phi feels like the right fit.
