Phi Sigma Phi was not created by accident. It was born through perseverance.

In 1988, when others accepted a different path, a group of brothers made a bold decision to stand on their own, protect the ideals they believed in, and build a national fraternity rooted in independence, loyalty, and purpose. From that moment, Phi Sigma Phi became more than another Greek organization it became a brotherhood for men willing to rise, lead, and dare to be different.

Guided by the principles of Honor, Justice, and Wisdom, and inspired by the Golden Rule, Phi Sigma Phi challenges its members to become better men, stronger leaders, and lifelong brothers. Our symbol, the Phoenix, reminds us that greatness is not given — it is built, earned, and renewed by those with the courage to rise.

  • Joshua Finch

    NATIONAL PRESIDENT

    Josh is an alumnus from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Kappa Chapter where he was part of the chartering class. Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management with a minor in Communication. Josh hold his Master of Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh.

    Josh was elected as the youngest National President in Phi Sigma Phi history in July of 2022, a role he has since continued to serve in.

  • Nathaniel Church

    NATIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Nate is an alumnus of the Epsilon Beta Chapter at Wright State University. He graduated with a degree in Business Management.

    He was elected as National Vice-President in 2002 and served as National President from 2012-2016 followed by another term as National Vice-President from 2016-2020. He is currently appointed as National Executive Director and has been in that position since January of 2022.

  • Aaron Bestul

    NATIONAL VICE-PRESIDENT

    Aaron is an alumnus of Kappa Chapter at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. Aaron holds his Masters of Science from Pennsylvania Western University majoring in Sports Psychology.

    Aaron was elected as National Vice-President in July 2022.

  • Ethan Conover

    NATIONAL VICE-PRESIDENT

    Ethan is a Founder and alumnus of Kappa Chapter at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology- Deviance and Social Control. In addition, he holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the American Military University and a Master of Philosophy in Justice Administration from Walden University. He is currently in the process of earning a PhD in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Justice Administration.

    Ethan was elected as a National Vice-President in 2022 to fill a vacant position and again in 2024.

    Joseph Sharpe

    NATIONAL VICE-PRESIDENT

    Joe is an alumnus of Phi Mu Chapter at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. He graduated with a Regents Bachelor of the Arts with an emphasis in Music and History.

    Joe was appointed to the position of National Vice President in Spring 2019. Joe served as National President from January 2022 to July 2022 where he stepped down and was reelected as National Vice President. Joe also serves as the National Parliamentarian and National Ritual Master.
